Simplicity
August 1, 2007
How happy is the little stone
That rambles in the road alone,
And doesn’t care about careers,
And exigencies never fears;
Whose coat of elemental brown
A passing universe put on;
And independent as the sun,
Associates or glows alone,
Fulfilling absolute decree
In casual simplicity.
- Emily Dickinson
another of my favourites. in this hectic, always-running-for-things-life, this verse rings a bell somewhere. what do u say?
Heart, we will forget him!

Heart, we will forget him!
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.
When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you’re lagging.
I may remember him!

One of my favourite pieces of poetry ever. In a slightly blue mood today. That’s why this ![]()
